Hey Everyone!
I just placed an order for a 2024 F250 Lariat Tremor H.O. (super excited for my first diesel)
I am starting to question whether I should change my order to an F350. I will be towing an 8k lb travel trailer to start but plan on getting a 5th wheel in the future. The thing that is holding me back is the ride quality concern. This will get a lot of daily use and ride quality is something I'm conscious of. Is there a considerable difference (or any difference) between the ride quality on a F250 Tremor vs F350 Tremor? Should I go to a F350?
Thank you!

Go F350. Tremors have the same suspension F250/350. Only difference is the GVWR/Cargo Capacity. Since you’re gonna be getting a fifth wheel I’d change your order to a 350.

Same suspension - same ride - get the 350 and the extra load capacity - especially if you are getting a 5th wheel!
You will love it!

If your already second guessing it, get the 350. Basically the same truck for the same price with a higher capacity,

As others have said same suspension other than the sticker on the door. But to be legal you need the decal. If you are close just get the 350. The biggest difference is what your going to pay in registration/insurance depending on the state you live in. That's the expense that no one talks about.

Welcome and congrats on the order! The ride quality should be the same between the two.
What size/weight 5th wheels would you be looking at?

Like others said get the F350. My 23 HO averages almost 18mpg when not towing.

Insurance cost difference is a real thing depending on which state you live in so there's that to consider. Outside of that, I'd lean 350 if you're ordering and have the option. I always buy off the lot and get whatever is available to me which is usually a 3/4-ton.

Having not yet driven an HO, for those that have is there any discernible difference detected by the "Butt Dyno" from the base 6.7l in terms of acceleration/performance

Get the F350. Mine is daily driver and have no issues with suspension. And no issues with hauling too!

Yes. Love my 2022 F250 Tremor but this is the one thing I got wrong. Limited my 5th wheel capacity. Go 350.

I would get the 250 and upgrade the springs to your choosing. Simply because insuring a 350 is a substantial amount more than a 250. At least thats the case in Florida.

Not really. I may notice a bit more power when pulling my 5th wheel but it could be in my head as well. 22 6.7 vs 23 HO same options

Compared to my last 6.7 this HO scoots a bit more, or at least it's noticeable to me.

This horse has been beaten beyond to death - the 250 and 350 Tremor's are the same suspension.
Get whichever badge you like better, or GVWR sticker makes you sleep better at night.

Ride quality/suspension should be the same as already noted. Resale, sticker capacity, insurance, and registration should be considered in the 250 v. 350 decision. I know here in MN, insurance is pretty much a wash between the two, but there is significant savings with the registration/annual tabs on the 350 as a Y class vehicle. You pay a little more up front for the 350, but its more than made up for in the first two years.

Additional costs are going to vary by area and are good to be aware of. In My neck of the woods (MT) there’s nominal cost difference in insurance and registration. Another factor would be area DOT rules which is a whole different rabbit hole where depending on circ*mstances F250 could have some benefits over the F350 or vice versa . Ultimately changing the springs won’t up the capacity sticker if there’s a need for higher capacity sticker weather it’s for DOT, legal beagles, or just warm fuzzy feeling.
