49ers' Jordan Elliott: Signing with San Francisco
Rotowire
The 49ers are slated to sign Elliott to a two-year, $10 million contract, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.
A third-round pick in 2020 by the Browns, Elliott spent the 2022 and 2023 seasons as a starter for Cleveland. Across 17 games (14 starts) last year, Elliott recorded 21 tackles (14 solo) and 2.5 sacks on the team's talented defensive line. In San Francisco, Elliott will help to replace the snaps lost by Arik Armstead, who is expected to be released this week.

49ers' Javon Kinlaw: Set to join jets
Rotowire
Kinlaw agreed to terms on a one-year deal with the Jets on Monday, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
Kinlaw was drafted by the 49ers in 2020 and has spent four years there. He finished the 2023 campaign with 25 tackles (13 solo), including 3.5 sacks, and three passes defensed across 17 games as a depth interior lineman. He will play a similar role in New York while he works to earn reps behind Quinton Jefferson (groin) and Quinnen Williams.

49ers' Leonard Floyd: Heading to San Fran
Rotowire
Floyd agreed to a two-year, $20 million contract with the 49ers on Monday, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.
Floyd is coming off a one-year stint with the Bills that saw him tie a career high with 10.5 sacks among his 32 tackles (21 solo) while adding one pass defensed and one forced fumble across 17 games. The 31-year-old has demonstrated durability by not missing a game during the previous six seasons and now projects to provide edge-rush assistance opposite Nick Bosa.

49ers' Jauan Jennings: Gets second-round tender
Rotowire
The Niners gave Jennings a second-round restricted free agent tender Monday, Matt Maiocco of NBC Sports Bay Area reports.
This gives the Niners the right to match any offer Jennings receives from another team, with a second-round pick coming back in return if they decline. No team is going to give up a pick that early for the right to hand Jennings a considerable contract, meaning a trade is now the only way he'd end up on a new team for 2024. While he hasn't seen many targets as the No. 3 receiver in a loaded offense, Jennings had Super Bowl MVP hype at one point in the big game when it looked like the Niners might win and he had a passing TD and a receiving score. Fantasy relevance in 2024 seems unlikely if fellow wide receivers Brandon Aiyuk and Deebo Samuel both are on the team and healthy.

49ers' Brandon Allen: Sticking around in San Francisco
Rotowire
The 49ers are set to re-sign Allen as a backup quarterback, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.
Allen did not appear in a game for the 49ers last season, as he operated only as the team's emergency third quarterback, but he could step up to a more important role behind Brock Purdy for the 2024 campaign if Sam Darnold isn't re-signed. Now heading into his age-32 season, Allen is also capable of contributing in a mentorship role.

49ers' Arik Armstead: Set to be released by San Francisco
Rotowire
The 49ers are expected to release Armstead (knee) in the coming days, Jordan Schultz of BleacherReport.com reports.
Armstead is entering the final year of his five-year, $85 million deal and carries a 2024 cap hit of greater than $28.3 million, third-highest on the 49ers. By designating Armstead as a post-June 1 cut, the Niners would clear over $18 million in cap space, leaving behind $10.3 million in dead money. The 30-year-old missed five more games in 2023 after missing eight the previous season. He has just 14.5 sacks since recording 10.0 in 2019.

49ers' Colton McKivitz: Inks new deal with San Francisco
Rotowire
The 49ers re-signed McKivitz to a one-year, $7 million contract Friday, per AMDG Sports.
The 27-year-old will remain a 49er for the immediate future after agreeing to a new, one-year deal Friday. McKivitz has spent all four years of his career in San Francisco, making 45 appearances and starting 22 games. The veteran tackle also started all 17 of the 49ers' games in 2023, so he'll likely have the opportunity to start once again in 2024.
