It was a fabulous series, really loved it

Thank you very much! A lot of love and hard work went into this so it's great to hear when people enjoy it.

    Good comic. ^-^
It's always nice to have a good lead-up before getting to the vore.

slimshod OP Commissioner 5 years ago

Thank you. I think the anticipation of vore is one of the best parts so it was really fun to play with.

    Vyss 5 years ago

    Wow. Just wow.

An idea of a comic almost exactly like this was lingering in my mind for the last couple of days, until I regretfully abandoned it, knowing that I can't draw.
And today I accidentally stumble upon your comic. It's almost surreal.

They say that "it hurts when your dreams come true for other people", but that's fine by me.
    More of this, please.

slimshod OP Commissioner 5 years ago

Haha! That's a fantastic turn of events if there ever was one. I'm happy you could see the dream realized.

As for more, I won't be working on anything nearly as large or complex for quite some time, let alone covering this kind of material. I usually prefer darker themes (unwilling vore being one of them) so this was a rare case. I'll primarily be focusing on my other projects for now (co*ck dogs, cub stuff hosted on other sites, etc).

I had a second character and story all planned out set to mirror this one but it became much too large for me to do. If you'd like to see it realized feel free to note me and we can chat.

Can I get a image of your OC in this just one plain image of her if you have one?

slimshod OP Commissioner a year ago

You mean without the meat lines? Like a ref sheet?

    anonymouse1800 a year ago

Holy sh*t. Great work! I have had a kink for so long that I have been unable to identify, and your comic has been the closest thing I have found. Do you know where else I can find similar comics? Not just vore, but the entire meat and cooking process. I just don't know what subgenre this falls into. Thanks!

slimshod OP Commissioner a year ago

Glad you found something to scratch that itch! This particular kink is often called "Dolcett" for human characters, named after the artist that popularized it. You can find their old works on e-hentai.org.

A few other terms are "gynophagia" or "cooking vore". You can look this up on e621 under the tag "cooking_with_furs" or you can head over to Eka's Portal (link on my profile) where you'll find plenty of content. It is also tagged as "cannibalism" on a lot of other gallery sites like gelbooru.

Sweet, I’ll check that out. Thanks!

Thak you? Translate says that word is "optimal" so I think I get the meaning?

    Mirmidone87 9 months ago

    si è cosi!
Sai in italiano talvolta si può esprimere un intero pensiero con una parola?
Ah e scusa il tempo ...
    Yes, it is!
Do you know in Italian sometimes you can express an entire thought with one word?
Ah and sorry for the weather…

slimshod OP Commissioner 9 months ago

Oh yes, I understand that. I just wasn't sure if the translation was correct. I'm glad you like it!

Not going to lie, I found this on accident and was traumatized. Nevertheless, I have questions on how this world works.

    1. Is it painful? It looked like she enjoyed it, but being essentially burned alive cant be comfortable.

    2. What is the legality in universe? Her parents signed witness statements so Im guessing it's legal, still a bit odd for parents to show up to what is essentially an execution and then partake.

    3. What is the bondage for? Is it to keep the body from moving during the process or to keep her from escaping? Can she change her mind at any part in the process?

Just curious, I don't know how this works.

slimshod OP Commissioner 9 months ago

Vore and cooking vore is definitely not for everyone. It's important to know your limits. But if you can be open to it, I can try to make it less traumatizing.

    1. It's as painful as you want it to be. I designed it this way sort of with the principle "the more you enjoy it, the less painful it is" in mind. This shows up in vore every now and then. However, from a purely creative POV, it's not painful b/c I wanted it to be that way.

    2. There are varying degrees of legality within that universe, this just happens to be one where volunteering is more common than not. Other counties/cities have a more unwilling populace so a lottery system is in place, taking both willing and unwilling. In this case, since they are in a more "willing" location and conform to more "willing" standards, witness forms are signs to verify no one coerced the prey.

    3. Prey can have a change of heart. But once they're bought and paid for, they're meat, so they don't get to have one. If you mean while cooking, then to make sure they don't damage themselves or the equipment while cooking. Involuntary movement is still a thing.

    chaoticsponge2 9 months ago

Thank you for the explanation. This type of content is definitely not for me, as I said I found it by accident and it bothered me for days after, I just had to understand it.

Knowing there are cases of unwilling individuals kinda makes it worse for me. Sorry to be a downer. I just kept getting the image of her spitting out the apple and changing her mind at the last second while her parents stood there.

Also the fact that you can have a conversation with or sex with someone just to kill and eat them a little while later is baffling to me. I guess I cant get over the hurtle that they clearly ate a person.

Maybe Im too sensitive, it just made me very uncomfortble. Sorry for the questions. I just dont "get it".

slimshod OP Commissioner 9 months ago

It's a tricky subject to wrap your head around for sure. This kind if content requires you relax your definitions and embrace suspension of disbelief to enjoy.

This kind of thing is akin to objectification. A person goes from being a person to being an object, removing their previous position, removing any expectation of responsibility other than to be food. It's a truly horrible thing IRL but this is fantasy so no one actually gets hurt. It's a safe place to flex those moralities and see what kinds of scenarios characters can find themselves in.

I've noticed a similar response from more empathetic people over on e6 so it's not unusual to feel this way. But the important thing to keep in mind is that this kind of thing isn't to be mean or cruel, it's to play out a fantasy.

As for Melanie, she wanted it to happen. She wanted to give up her life as a living person bc she loved the idea of being the perfect meal for someone, in the spotlight of their dinner table and appetite. She was happy others could enjoy her.

    chaoticsponge2 9 months ago

She died fulfilling her dream. Silver lining I guess?

I am far too much of a moralistic and idealist to be able to understand or enjoy it. Her parents being involved made it even more terrifying for me as a new father.

I appreciate you taking the time to help me wrap my head around it. I understand that it is fantasy but it still made me upset for days.

I did see some of the comments on e6. I hope you dont think Im attacking you or beating you down. It's just definitely not for me!

slimshod OP Commissioner 9 months ago

To her it's everything. It's exactly what she dreamed of since she saw the bird barbecue in her neighbor's backyard. For you, it was an awful journey, but for her, it was the cmination of her life's purpose.

The parental aspect was important, bc I wanted to give it some emotional weight. Could have used them better but they did the job for folks, based on feedback. I'm sorry it hit a bit too close to home for you. If it's any consolation, their silver lining was knowing Melanie died doing what she loved.

Understood. For some, it just won't click and that's ok. I don't take this as an attack or anything (I know what those look like lol). I'm glad you were able to have a reasonable conversation about it though. Some people just can't. Happy to chat more about it or similar topics if you're ever curious.

    chaoticsponge2 9 months ago

I can get behind non fatal vore, it can be rather cute actually if done well.

Thank you for being so understanding. Talking about it actually helped me a lot, because, as I said, as a moralist and realist who recently welcomed his first daughter into the world it was very upsetting for me at first. I will never read it again, but talking it out with you helped me to process the feelings I had.

If nothing else this taught me the importance of blacklisting tags!

    Deviousknight95 8 months ago

Hehe, nice. Good willing vore is hard to find.

I noticed some comment on e6 mentions a lottery system? How does that work? Your number gets pulled and they just show up at your house or workplace like, "surprise! Guess who's lunch!"

slimshod OP Commissioner 8 months ago

Ya basically. That's for the companion vore story I had planned to go along with this one but it won't get made anytime soon. This particular setting has a volunteer only basis, where other counties/cities may use the lottery system.

    Deviousknight95 8 months ago

Dang. Would have been neat to see. What contingencies are in place for unwilling prey? Can't imagine a CEO or school teacher going all that quietly.

slimshod OP Commissioner 8 months ago

More often than not, the prey wouldn't know ahead of time, a squad would pick them up where they were. And ya, I really enjoyed crafting the darker version of the world but sadly it will remain as is. Unless some very generous donor decides to give me $3k to do it lol.

    Deviousknight95 8 months ago

Oof. You should post the details man! The people wanna know!

slimshod OP Commissioner 8 months ago

I appreciate the interest but nope. Projects that have no realistic timeline will remain under wraps. No point in getting people excited over something they'll never get.

    Deviousknight95 8 months ago

If nothing else, might make a good fic

slimshod OP Commissioner 8 months ago

I agree but I want to keep it as a comic. I have plenty of other ideas that would fit as a fic.

    Deviousknight95 2 months ago

Just out of curiosity. This is a more "willing" area, yeah? What happens if a pred eats unwilling prey in a willing area?

slimshod OP Commissioner 2 months ago

Depends how the unwilling prey was gotten. Each district has its own set of laws and rules. The pred would likely end up imprisoned or up for meat auction as a result.

    Deviousknight95 2 months ago

So unwilling is murder in a willing area? Wonder how often that happens

slimshod OP Commissioner 2 months ago

You're free to speculate bc I didn't world build that far.
