For instance, I had everything on my mantel except for the faux pumpkin and the pinecone filler, which cost me about $7 at Hobby Lobby. We’ll start with the obvious first thing you can use to add fall to your home. These gorgeous plants in the squash family are simply gorgeous. I love them stacked or piled or nestled into a bed of fall foliage. I’m not picky.

2. Apples

What better way to add to your fall decor than to decorate with the delicious apple? Fall means all things apple, like apple cider, apple pie, apple muffins, apple cake, apple butter (!!), candied apples and more! Are you getting hungry yet??

I love the chalky black look with typography all of the time, but especially in the fall. It reminds me of Halloween and the richness of the black lends itself to a warmer color palette like autumn.

The nubby, farmhouse textured fabric is always a great addition in the home during the Fall season. Whether you are using it for a wreath, table runner or just incorporated into your decor, burlap is a perfect choice for fall.

These gorgeous potted plants get their own category because they are the fall “flower”. Or more like a flowering bush … what exactly are they? Either way, they look gorgeous inside or outside of the home. Definitely pick some up this season, if you do nothing else except for plop them by the front door like I do!

7. Sticks, Twigs & Stumps

I know that this one could be categorized as bringing the outside in, but I thought that sticks needed their own category. 😊 I love how Liz Marie decorated her buffet with larger sticks in vases. So cute and inexpensive!

8. Pillows!

As always, a seasonal throw pillow is a good idea. There are so may adorable pillows out there with fall sentiments or pumpkins – and in every price point!

I personally love all of the pillows from Lucy at Craftberry Bush. I have several of them and always get questions about where I got them. I’ve taken a watercolor class from her once, and let’s just say what she has is raw talent. It’s not easy to watercolor like this!
